Tissot, officially designated timekeeper for the 2018 Asian Games, committed to the sportsmanship promotion. In order to bring the hot atmosphere to the public, Tissot and ViDe Team got together to create a delighted and exciting experience to the masses for delivering the feeling and experience of being an athlete. From the idea of planning to the producing, ViDe Team put full effort to work for the Tissot 2018 Asian Games Fever.
From the idea generation to the game producing, ViDe Team devoted fully to the processes. ViDe Team created two games for the event. Both Cycling game and Fencing Virtual Reality game entirely provided a brand new delighted experience. Cycling game provided an interactive experience for the masses to have a competition with their friends. The Fencing game made use of the Virtual Reality technology to offer a high reality of imitating a real fencing competition.
About the Fencing Virtual Reality game, participants were required to wear the head-mounted display for the game. A digital picture film of a fencing competition will be displayed on the screen of the head-mounted display. After a short time of practicing, participants were ready for the real and formal fencing competition in which having the competition with the PC player. A controller holding in the participants’ hands will act as a sword which demonstrated on the digital screen. The controller will detect the moving path and direction of the participants’ hands, and present the attacking direction in the screen.
About the Cycling game, maximum 4 of the participants were available to engage in every competition. Participants first enter information into the phone controller to activate the game. Participants were required to press two buttons, in which one is on the left and one is on the right, appeared on the phone controller in high-speed as well as they can. Participants were welcomed to scan the QR code on the phone screen after the competition ended so that they can get the photo of their gaming result and keep it as a souvenir or share it on different social media platforms.
Participants, who were able to get the 10 highest score during the event, had an opportunity to get an invaluable prize provided by Tissot.
